Donation for Abandoned animals at Chhaya Animal Hospital

Lions Club of Kolkata Advocates donated Cash & verious food grains such as Soyabin, Rice , Banna, Biscuits, Bran and Rs.5,000/- for animals food at the Chhaya Animal Hospital onthe memory of Club President Lion Rabin Chatterjee's wife Late Tuli . Facilities available at the said hospital;- # A Gaushala for cows and horses that stay permanently at Chhaya #A dog bathing area where all picked-up dogs are given an antiseptic bath before admission # Availability of oxygen cylinders # A large kitchen where hygienic nutritious food is prepared for all dogs twice daily # Vehicles that pick up dogs 6 days a week to bring injured animals to Chhaya & return them when cured #Chhaya is a green project equipped with solar geysers, solar lights and bio-gas plant
