Lion Raj Kumar Agarwal joined the Lions movement as a member in the oldest Leo Club of Asia in 1980, he rose to become Leo District President (83-84). As a Leo and Lion Leader Raju has been in the fore-front of multifarious service activities. He also introduced novel ideas like Discover India Programme, I Card Project, Blood Donors Card, Metro Station Blood Grouping Camp and Freedom 50. In the field of culture and fellowship he has organised many cultural shows almost single-handedly for Lions and Leos which involved artists of all India fame. Apna Utsav and Kavi Sammelans organised by him, bear his distinct trademark.

Raju has won several awards and certificates. Significant among them are International President's Appreciation Certificates, Lion of the Year, New Horizon, Excellent District Chairman and Outstanding Region Chairman. He has also won many Extension Chairman, Membership Key Awards and Leadership Medals. Raju is associated with 22 social service, trade, sports and cultural organisations.

He is a commerce graduate and is married to Reena and they are bleassed with son Yash and daughter Priyal. Raju is Heritage Club member and Progressive MJF.
