Lion Arun Kr Jain joined the movement in the year 1999 as a Charter Member of Lions club off Calcutta City of Joy. He become the President of the Club in the year 2001-02. Since then, he has been serving District Cabinet and has held almost all the important cabinet portfolio like Zone Chairman, Region Chairman, Public Relation Officer, District Chairperson, LCIF Coordinator for a continous period of 3 years, 2nd Vice District Governor in 2018-19, First Vice District Governor in 2019-20 & District Governor in 2020-21. He has served with dinction & has his imprint on these positions. He has won numerous awards for his services and has been the excellent President, Outstanding Zone Chairman, Best Region Chairman, 7 International Certificate of Appreciation, 6 International President Pins, Leadership Medal, Presidential Medal, Lion of the Year from District as well as Multiple and various accolades. He was instrumental in District claiming and getting mamy LCI and LCIF Grants. He has attended 8 Multiple Conventions and Area Forum too. Lion Arun is a RLLI Graduate from 2002 batch and also a SLLI Graduate in 2007

Lion Arun is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is practicing as such since 1987. He is also a Law Graduate (LL.B) from University of Calcutta. He is a prolific writer and many of his articles having been published in various journals, magazines and newspapers. Ever smiling and joval Lion Arun has a desire to take everyone along and has made many friends in his journey. Lion Arun is also associated with many other social and professional forums like Direct taxes Practitioners Association, Association of Company Advisers and Executives, Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (USA), Avantika, DTP & many more. His wife Vidya is also Active Lion Member & MJF. They are blessed with two daughter-Sanskrity & Vidushree - both are Lion Members.
