Lion MJF Gopi Dhuwalia born on 12th March 1948 at Khetri, Rajasthan in a family of political dedication, graduated in Law, married with Smt Hariya on 9th July 1970, established well in the industry of cutting tools and measuring instruments as also in the field of education and social services raised a professionally qualified family and enacted Lionism in 1992 as a faith of life. He rose to the position of the President of Lions Club of Calcutta Kankurgachhi in 1996 and since then, has held many coveted position in the District Administration. In the 8th Annual District Conference he was elected District Governor in 2009-10. He has been actively associated with Purvanchal Nagrik Samity, W.B. Marwari Sammelan, Kankurgachi Welfare Association and similar organisations. District has received a Gingko New Year Award during his tenure of District Governorship & a Council Treasurer of the Multiple 322 for the year 2010-11. He is blessed with 3 Daughters & 1 Son, all married.
