Lion MJF Mahendra Jain  joined Lionism as a Leo President of Leo Club of Calcutta in 1986 and elected as Leo District President in 1990-91. He graduated to Lionism in Lionistic Year 1991-92 and because of his devotion and dedication respective District Governors assigned him the key responsibilities every year. He has received International President's Appreciation Certificate, International President Pin & innumerable awards in recognition to his service for the cause of Lionism; he was awarded Lion of the year in L.Y. 2004-05, Lion of the Multiple in 2007-08. He is also a recipient of 2 International President Medal. He became District Governor in 2011-12 & was promoted to Multiple Council Treasurer in 2012-13. He is attached with many other Business association Cultural societies & Religious organizations. At present he is General Secretary of COTI (Chamber of Textile Traders & Industries)

A law Graduate from Calcutta University, he is a successful businessman, strong administrator and always a smiling worker. Lionism is in his blood. Happily married to Sharmila, who is also a Lion member, he is blessed with 2 sons - Shreyansh & Mayank.
