Lion Anoop Varma married to Vibha joined Lions Club of Calcutta East Coast in 1986. After District Division, became member of Calcutta Circular and served as a Club President in 2000-01. A Positive thinker with dedication & devotion in Lionism he enjoys the affection & love of all the Past District Govemors and specially muffasil clubs. Under mentoring of Raj Kumar Agarwal he steadily rose the ladder and became recipients of 6 International Apperciation Certificates, 4 International President Pins, Achiever of 2 Time Lion of the Year Award in District, 1 Time in Multiple 01-02 & Best Region Chairman 04-05, 2 International President Leadership Medal. Blessed with 2 daughter Swati & Shilipi a firm believer in joint family has attended 19 Multiple Conventions and 4 International Conventions. Participated First regional Institute at Chalsa in 2001 and Senior Leadership Institute at Mumbai in 2006 & YLLI Faculty 2016. Rabindra Jayanti on District Level, Coffee Adda, Puja Parikarma for street Children & physically challenged children with senior citizen, Lions Sharodiya Samman are the brainchild started by him in 2008.
